Congratulations

Congratulations to both Vanessa Fernandes and Nelson Evora for their medals in the Beijing Olympics.
Vanessa Fernandes got the silver in the women's triathlon and Nelson Evora just finished getting the gold in the men's triple jump.
Both are athletes represent Benfica and are supported by Benfica.
In a time where most Portuguese athletes at the olympics complain of lack of support by the Portuguese Olympic Comittee and the Portuguese Government, praise must be given to the support that is offered by Benfica to their athletes. Certainly the athlete's talent and their merit can not be taken away, but when you have a club that offers you the conditions to excel, only good results can come of it.
An example to be followed, not only by other clubs, but most importantly by the Portuguese Government.
