With the 6th of February being designated by Fifa as an International match date, many national teams will be playing friendly matches.
Here's a list of Benfica players that have earned call ups:
Angel DiMaria earned a call up spot to the Argentine Olympic Squad for a friendly agains Guatemala that will take place in Los Angeles on the 6th of February.
Katsouranis was called up for mini tournament taking place in Cyprus where Greece will face Finland and the Chech Republic.
Luisao also earnes a call up by Dunga, after a long absence. Brazil will be in action on 6th of February against Replublic of Ireland.
Rodriguez and Maxi were also called up by the "celeste" for a friendly against Columbia in Montevideo.
Injury update
Petit and Rodriguez are almost recuperated, the 2 midfielders participated in the full squad scrimmage this morning.
Leo continues to recuperate from a back injury
Rui Costa did not practice yesterday due to a bad cold but was back in training this morning.
More names are coming up as potential Benfica targets, Igor de Camargo(Standard de Liege),Elyaniv Barda(Genk) and Yoan Gouffran of Caen.
Benfica has publicly denied contacts with Caen for the services of Gouffran on their website this morning.
