Game Roster for Nacional

JJ has called on the following players for the initial game of the League Cup against Nacional.


Keepers: Quim and Moreira;

Defenders: Maxi Pereira, Luís Filipe, Luisão, Roderick, David Luiz, Miguel Vítor, César Peixoto and Shaffer;

Midfielders: Javi Garcia, Carlos Martins, Felipe Menezes, Urreta and Fábio Coentrão;

Forwards: Nuno Gomes, Saviola, Cardozo and Weldon.

Notable absences are those of Aimar and Ramires, who have been battling minor injuries. DiMaria will serve the last game of his two game suspension.

The registering period with the league will only start this monday, for those of you wondering about the new acquisitions.

JJ will surely promote some changes and some rotativity to the squad, starting with Moreira in goal. Shaffer may very well get another start at left back, as well as Urreta who will most likely show up on one of the flanks opposite of Coentrao. I don't anticipate any other changes.
