As a result of Maxi's injury and his subsequent 8 week absence, JJ has dipped into his spare bag and dug out Luis Felipe to fill in at the right back position.
Patric is young and is going through an adaptation period to the different style of football played in Europe. He might be big in the upcoming future but right now he is a big question mark.
Felipe who has a contract with Benfica until 2011, was on loan at Guimaraes last year as he wasn't a part of Quique's plans, but returned to Benfica at the beginning of pre-season for further placement.
Felipe was signed as a request by Fernando Santos but was never able to gain the respect of the fans or the 4 coaches he had a chance to play for.
He may have shown talent at some point in other teams, but once he got to Benfica he seemed to feel the weight of the sacred mantle.
Despite being a temporary solution, Luis Felipe has what is perhaps the very last chance to make an impression.
