Makukula Headed to the Reebok

Both Benfica and Bolton have confirmed the loan deal involving Makukula until the end of the 08/09 season. At the end of the season, Bolton will have the option of acquiring Makukula for 5 million euros.
Big Mak leaves Benfica 1 year after being the biggest signing of last January's transfer window. He came to Benfica by the hand of Camacho, but was never able to break into the starting line up on a consistent basis. During that time, Makukula also lost his spot on the national team, as he was never an option for both Scolari and Queiroz now. With his move to England, Makukula should find a more suitable type of game to his style - more physical and more direct, with long services, should suit Makukula.
