Here's brief recap of the Benfica players in action this past Wednesday

Suazo was once again the hero as Honduras qualified for the next round of the Concacaf World Cup Qualifying. Suazo scored the only goal against Mexico and both teams qualified for the 8 team group stage.

The rest of the players were in action in friendlies

Maxi and Uruguay played in Paris and drew without goals against Les Bleus.

Katsouranis helped Greece to a tie against reigning World Champs Italy.

Cardozo traveled to Africa to face Oman and beat the locals 1-0.

Also in Africa, Binya and Cameroon were beat 3-2 by World Cup hosts South Africa.

Miguel Vitor played for Portugal's U-21 against Spain in a match where portugal beat the Spanish.

Lastly.. Luisao and Quim faced each other, the result is not worth mentioning.

There are no known injuries from these matches, and all players should be in training this friday.
