Portuguese Cup Drawing Results

Benfica drew Desportivo das Aves at home for the Portuguese Cup in this morning's drawing. Deportivo das Aves is currently 4th in the Liga Vitalis (Portugal's second flight) and, if you recall, is a team that Benfica likes to loan players to. This year, former juniors Romeu Ribeiro and Ruben Lima are part of the Desportivo das Aves roster. Last year, Along with with Ruben Lima, Miguel Vitor and Yu Dabao were also part of the Desportivo das Aves roster. Despite the good relations between the clubs, don't expect this to be an easy game for Benfica. The game is scheduled for the 9th of November.
In another note, the drawing also dictated that Porto and Sporting meet.
