Starting on the right foot

Portugal started off in the best possible way. Beating Turkey by the score of 2-0. A deserved win, in a group that is not as easy as everyone thinks, despite the Czech Republic being, in my opinion, very far from what they have accustomed us to.

I though the team as a whole played well, showing an interesting understanding of each other this early in the competition. They showed to be on the the right track to do great things, and although it's still early, the routines that the team showed is a very good sign, as those same routines will only get better as the competition goes on. Good passing between the sectors, and the use of the whole width of the field are signs of a well organized team, developing an identity and a very tight distinctive style of play. I'm sure Scolari will make very few tweaks and make it even better.

Deserved win, with domination of both halves with the second half being a more obvious domination from our team. 3 Balls on the uprights and a decent amount of chances, produced the inevitable result.
