A few names have surfaced recently as potential Benfica targets for next season in the past couple of days. Nothing firm if you ask me, just inquiries by Benfica at this point.
Karim Ziani
The 26 year old Argelian midfielder currently playing for Marseille, was referenced by the french media as a potential Benfica target. Apparently Ziani has fallen out of favor with Marseille's current coach, and despite having a contract until 2011 with the French giants is looking to move on. Also interested in the Argelian international are Lazio, Bolton, Newcastle and West Ham.
