After the acquisition of Julio Cesar, it was obvious that one goal keeper would be dropped. The two names mentioned were Quim and Moretto. Without any serious offers for Quim it was obvious that Moretto would be the odd man out.
After showing some good things, and some not so good things throughout the pre-season it was this tetter-tatter that did him in.
Moretto will most likely go on another loan deal, possibly in his native Brazil.
